What Happens When You Book an AI Consultation With Us

We get it. You've been hearing about AI everywhere — how it's changing businesses, saving time, replacing jobs (it's not, but that's another post). And part of you is thinking: maybe I should look into this for my business.

But then the other part kicks in. What if I get on a call and they start throwing around words I don't understand? What if they try to sell me something expensive I don't need? What if I look silly because I don't even know what to ask?

We hear this a lot. So let's just lay it all out — here's exactly what happens when you book a discovery call with us.

It's 30 Minutes. That's It.

No hour-long presentations. No slide decks. No "let me loop in my sales team." It's a 30-minute conversation, usually on Google Meet, and it goes something like this.

We Ask About Your Business

The first thing we want to know is what you actually do, day to day. Not your company tagline — the real stuff. What takes up your time? What's repetitive? What falls through the cracks?

We'll ask things like:

  • What does a typical day look like for you?
  • Where do you feel like you're wasting time?
  • What tools are you already using — spreadsheets, WhatsApp, a CRM, pen and paper?
  • Have you tried anything with AI before?

This is the most important part of the call. We're listening, not pitching.

We Don't Use Jargon

If we catch ourselves saying something like "agentic workflow orchestration," feel free to call us out. We try our best to explain everything in plain language because the whole point of this call is for you to walk away with clarity, not confusion.

We're Honest About What AI Can and Can't Do

Sometimes we talk to a business owner and realise AI isn't the right move for them right now. Maybe their processes aren't quite ready. Maybe the problem they're facing is better solved by hiring someone, or fixing a simpler workflow issue first.

When that happens, we'll say so. We're a new agency, and we'd rather build trust by being straight with you than close a deal that doesn't make sense.

What We Don't Do on the Call

Let's be clear about what this isn't:

  • We won't pressure you to sign anything. This is a conversation, not a contract negotiation.
  • We won't try to upsell you. We're not going to dangle a cheap package and then hit you with add-ons.
  • We won't make you feel bad for not knowing about AI. Most of our clients started exactly where you are. That's normal.

What You Walk Away With

By the end of 30 minutes, you'll have:

  • A clearer picture of whether AI makes sense for your business right now — or whether it's better to wait.
  • Specific ideas for where AI could actually help, based on what you told us about your daily work.
  • A rough sense of what's involved — what it would take to set something up, how long it might take, and what kind of budget to expect. No surprises.
  • Zero obligation. If you decide it's not for you, that's completely fine. We'll part ways on good terms.
